Tom Lynch –
I just purchased the plans on my phone with Apple Pay, but now I can’t find download. I’d email you customer support, but I can’t find a contact.

Hi Ed,
I purchased the Queen Plans and I can’t seem to find the email. I’ve looked through my spam and still can’t find it. Is there any other fix?
Ed Hart (store manager) –
Hi Reuben, thanks for the order. You should have received an email with a download link immediately after purchase. First, check your junk or spam folder to see if it went there. If you don’t see it, let me know and I’ll have my system send you another download link.
Thanks!

Totally worth the $5. Not only does my finished bed feel incredibly sturdy and look handsome, it also has plenty of opportunities for customization. Using the original measurements and structure, I could absolutely design my own trim or change the shape of the legs to really make it my own. The cross-beam and L-shaped notches in the head- and foot-boards works beautifully and the ability to assemble, disassemble, and transport the frame with ease makes this an especially wonderful design. As a novice DIYer, this plan saved me so much time and energy trying to calculate all the different measurements. I’d like to make this again and sand down the posts and notched joints enough to line the posts with felt to make it extra quiet.

I purchased these plans a few weeks ago to make this style of bed. The plans were well thought out and very easy to follow. The bed turned out amazing! I’m looking forward to more projects and will look to use Ed Harts plans again.

I needed to build a bed for some guests over the holidays and needed something quick, relatively easy, and stylish too. This bed fit the bill. The cut plans were perfect, and made both purchasing the stock and cutting them down easy and efficient – really minimizes mistakes and waste. I used white pine for affordability, and although not the most exotic wood, with a little walnut stain and semi-gloss varnish it came out looking great. My only problem – not with the plans but with my assembly – was when one of the tabs on the footboard cracked while i was assembling. The joints were super tight, I had one side in, and working alone, I let the footboard swing out of alignment during assembly. It cracked in two and I ended up having to dowel it back together. Probably wouldn’t have happened with a harder wood. Just FYI. Got lots of compliments on the finished product. The plans, pictures and hints are all perfect.

The plans were straightforward and simple to follow. The progress photos along with the 3D images and the wording were all very helpful in explaining the steps and appearance of the project. This was my first bed ever to build and I believe it turned out perfectly. My finishing touches need some work, but the build is solid! Thanks so much! Will keep an eye out for new projects in the future.

I have not started building this Tatami bed yet , but I am gathering the materials together. I am very impressed with the drawings and presentation of the project as I have spent 40 years in the engineering field and know good drawings and specifications when I see them. Without question , these drawings are the best I have ever seen on the internet and they are very reasonably priced.

This is my first real independent woodworking project and Ed made it doable with his great detailed instructions. Using the schematic drawings, his detailed descriptions, photographs, and the video on how to make some cuts, I have learned quite a bit that I will keep in my skill set for future projects. Having a shopping list also made going to the lumber yard so easy. The style of this bed and the way it is put together makes it perfect for someone that finds themselves moving from time to time. No hardware needed, and can be taken apart into manageable pieces.
I highly recommend Ed’s plans for a beautiful Tatami inspired platform bed. You will not be disappointed.
